Assistant Manager/Lead Personal Trainer

Fitness Together is looking for an energetic, organized and hardworking individual to join our team. We seeking not only a Personal Trainer who is passionate about coaching, but someone who is a leader, and willing to learn our sales process.

• Strategic contributor in long and short range strategic planning.
• Effective listening skills necessary to elicit options and ideas in support of team relationship
• Design safe and effective fitness programs accommodating the unique needs and goals of each Fitness Together® client
• Express a positive attitude and show regular appreciation to clients and team members 
• Create unique, memorable and personal experiences for clients 
• Always maintain a space of cleanliness and ensure a safe and accident-free environment 
• Professionally represent yourself through your appearance, language and behavior 
  

 

• Degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred
• Certification (NASM, ACSM, or similar level of certification)
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• 1 year of personal training and program design experience preferred 
• Preferred experience working with special populations 
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to collaborate and thrive in a team environment 
• Must have the emotional stamina to be “at your best” with each client
• Ability to motivate and coach clients, in order to ensure continuous progress
• Ability to motivate, direct, lead a group, and delegate tasks 
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (written and verbal)
